The right part for the right price

TRUST

We believe one of the most important part of our relationship with our customers is trust. You can trust and know that we do our best to get you the right product for the right price. Our customers keep coming back to us because they know we try to sell them the best part. We let our customers know which products to trust and what will work best for their application. Sometimes there are hundreds of parts for one vehicle and we use our experience and knowledge of the return history/warranty issues with products to suggest which parts to purchase. There may be times we cannot be the lowest price, but we can guarantee that you won’t get a discount on a certain product to only get gouged on a different product. We also don’t force customers to purchase products in volume to get better prices. We know that converters are expensive (and will only get more expensive) and it is better for you to not have your capital tied up in inventory that will not move for awhile.

Converter Database

The CARB converter database is the first step in finding the right part. CARB maintains the database of every EO that shows which converter is legal for each application. In addition to using the CARB database, we recommend and endorse carbcats.com, an independent website that maintains the most accurate and up-to-date database that closely mirrors the CARB database. It is more user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and never goes down.

Quality Service and Pricing

Some companies want you to stock a bunch of products and give you a discounted price. Don’t be fooled to do their work for them. We do the work of stocking the parts you need for you to purchase when you need them. Free up your capital for other expenses. We will always be here to help you find the right converter at an affordable price.

The converter market is highly specific and can be difficult to understand. With our decades of experience, we can help you understand all the rules and regulations and avoid costly mistakes. Be wary of vendors who don’t know much about the market and can only sell you a part. We do more than sell you a part, we give you valuable knowledge and expertise to make sure the job gets done right.

We always look forward to a chance to earn your business.

Warranty Support

We will do our best to help represent your claims to the manufacturer. Given the strict requirements set by the manufacturer, we encourage our installers to always make sure to do all the corrective measures prior to installing a converter. Aside from a manufacturer defect such as a leak, poor welding, or cracking on the body, a converter rarely fails. To ensure the best outcome for a warranty claim, we recommend the following:

  • do PRoper diagnosis of the initial converter failure

  • have paperwork of the work that was done to fix the initial converter failure

  • replace o2 sensors

  • send in the warranty card

  • return the failed converter to the distributor

Locating the Engine Family Number (EFN)/Test Group Name

To determine which catalytic converter to use on a vehicle, it is necessary to determine the specific vehicle emission system that was installed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The label can be found in the engine compartment usually on the hood underside, strut tower, radiator support, fan shroud, or firewall. If the label is missing, it is necessary to contact the OE dealer to order a new Emission Control Information Label.

Identifying California Aftermarket Converters

Effective January 1, 2009, all new aftermarket catalytic converters sold or installed in California must have the proper labeling. To ensure you are buying, selling or installing a California legal catalytic converter the following label must be visible on the converter. Below is a sample of what to look for.
